펭귄놀이터(이하 "앱")는 영유아와 부모님을 위한 놀이 앱으로, 아동의 개인정보 보호를 최우선 원칙으로 설계되었습니다.
1. 우리가 수집하는 개인정보: 없습니다
앱은 어떠한 개인정보도 서버로 수집·전송하지 않습니다. 회원가입·로그인도 없습니다.
유일한 예외는 마스터 플랜(또는 무료 체험)의 "AI 상담 리포트" 기능입니다. 이 기능은 부모님이 보는 놀이 리포트 화면에서만 동작하며, 아래 6장에 적힌 놀이 통계 숫자만을 전송합니다. 아이 이름·개월수 외 정보·카메라 영상·마이크 소리는 어떤 경우에도 전송되지 않으며, 전송되는 숫자만으로는 누구인지 알 수 없습니다.
2. 기기 안에만 저장되는 정보
아래 정보는 서비스 제공을 위해 이용자의 기기 내부에만 저장되며, 외부로 전송되지 않습니다(놀이 통계의 AI 리포트 전송은 6장 참조). 앱을 삭제하면 함께 삭제됩니다.
- 아이 이름(또는 별명)과 개월수 — 캐릭터가 아이를 부르고 나이에 맞는 놀이를 고르기 위해
- 놀이 이용 기록(놀이 시간, 획득한 별, 놀이별 맞은 개수) — 부모용 리포트와 하루 이용 한도 관리를 위해
- 구매·구독 상태, 언어 설정, 두뇌 놀이 단계
3. 카메라 영상·마이크 소리의 처리
- 앱은 놀이를 위해 전면 카메라를 사용합니다 (아이의 얼굴 위치·표정 인식).
- 영상은 기기 안에서 실시간으로 처리된 후 즉시 폐기되며, 저장되거나 외부로 전송되지 않습니다.
- 얼굴 인식은 기기 내 AI(온디바이스)로 동작하며, 인식 결과(예: "웃고 있음")도 저장되지 않습니다.
- 카메라는 놀이 화면에서만 켜지며, 화면을 벗어나면 즉시 꺼집니다.
- 일부 놀이(마이크 놀이)는 마이크를 사용합니다. 앱은 소리의 크기만 기기 안에서 실시간으로 판정하며, 음성을 녹음·저장하거나 외부로 전송하지 않습니다. 음성 인식(내용 알아듣기)도 하지 않습니다.
- 마이크 역시 해당 놀이 중에만 켜지며, 놀이가 끝나면 즉시 꺼집니다.
4. 광고
- 현재 버전은 광고를 표시하지 않습니다. 아이의 놀이 화면은 물론 부모님 화면에도 광고가 없습니다.
- 추후 광고를 도입하는 경우, 아동 대상 서비스 기준(Google Play 가족 정책·App Store 아동 카테고리 기준)을 준수하는 비개인화 광고만을 부모님 화면에 한해 검토하며, 도입 전에 본 방침을 개정하여 고지합니다.
5. 결제
- 구독 및 테마팩 구매는 Google Play/App Store의 인앱결제로 처리되며, 결제 정보는 각 스토어가 관리합니다. 앱은 결제 카드 정보 등을 알 수 없습니다.
- 구매 상태 확인·복원을 위해 결제 처리 서비스 RevenueCat이 이용됩니다. 이 과정에서 익명의 앱 사용자 ID와 구매 내역이 RevenueCat 서버에서 처리됩니다. 여기에 아이의 이름·놀이 기록·카메라·마이크 정보는 포함되지 않습니다.
- 구매 화면은 부모 확인(길게 누르기) 뒤에만 접근할 수 있습니다.
6. 제3자 제공 및 분석 도구
- 개인정보를 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다. 단, 결제 처리 목적에 한해 위 5장의 RevenueCat이 익명 ID·구매 내역을 처리합니다(아동의 개인정보 아님).
- AI 상담 리포트(마스터 플랜·무료 체험 전용): 부모님이 리포트 화면을 열 때, 최근 7일의 놀이 통계 숫자 — 아이 개월수, 날짜별 놀이 시간(분)·획득한 별·놀이 횟수, 발달 영역별 놀이 횟수, 놀이별 맞은 개수·문제 수 — 만이 당사의 중계 서버(미국 소재, Vercel)를 거쳐 AI 서비스 제공자 Anthropic(미국)에 전송되고, 그 답으로 리포트 문장이 돌아옵니다. 아이 이름·기기 식별자·영상·음성은 포함되지 않으며, 중계 서버는 숫자 외의 값을 모두 제거하고 어떤 내용도 저장하지 않습니다. Anthropic은 자사 정책에 따라 요청 내용을 최대 30일간 보관 후 삭제하며, AI 학습에 사용하지 않습니다. 이 기능을 쓰지 않으면(마스터 플랜이 아니거나 오프라인이면) 어떠한 전송도 일어나지 않습니다.
- 이용 행태 분석 도구(애널리틱스)나 추적 기술을 사용하지 않습니다.
7. 아동의 개인정보
- 본 앱은 서버로 개인정보를 수집하지 않으므로, 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보 수집에 대한 법정대리인 동의 절차가 발생하지 않습니다.
- 기기 내 저장 정보(이름·개월수)는 부모님이 직접 입력·관리하며 언제든 수정하거나 앱 삭제로 제거할 수 있습니다.

Penguin Playground (the "App") is a play app for toddlers and parents, designed with children's privacy as the top priority.
1. Personal information we collect: None
The App does not collect or transmit any personal information to servers. There is no sign-up and no login.
The only exception is the "AI Report" feature of the Master plan (and the free trial). It runs only on the parent-facing report screen and sends play statistics as numbers only, as described in section 6. The child's name, camera video and microphone audio are never sent, and the numbers alone cannot identify anyone.
2. Information stored only on your device
The following is stored only on the user's device and never leaves it (except the play statistics used by the AI Report, see section 6). Deleting the app deletes it all:
- Child's name/nickname and age in months — so the character can call the child and pick age-appropriate games
- Play records (playtime, stars, correct answers per game) — for the parent report and daily limits
- Purchase/subscription state, language settings, brain-game levels
3. Camera & microphone processing
- The App uses the front camera for play (detecting the child's face position and expressions).
- Video is processed in real time on the device and immediately discarded — it is never stored or transmitted.
- Face detection runs on-device; recognition results (e.g., "smiling") are not stored either.
- The camera is on only during the play screen and turns off when leaving it.
- Some games use the microphone. The App only measures sound volume in real time on the device — audio is never recorded, stored, or transmitted, and no speech recognition is performed.
- The microphone is on only during those games and turns off immediately afterwards.
4. Ads
- For free users, ads appear only on the parent-facing report screen, never on the child's play screen.
- Only non-personalized, family-policy-compliant ads are shown.
5. Payments
Subscriptions and theme packs are processed by Google Play/App Store in-app purchase. The App never sees payment details. Purchase screens sit behind a parental gate (press-and-hold).
6. Third parties & analytics
No personal data is shared with third parties (RevenueCat processes an anonymous app user ID and purchase history for payments only, see section 5). No analytics or tracking technologies are used.
AI Report (Master plan & free trial only): when a parent opens the report screen, only the last 7 days of play statistics as numbers — the child's age in months, daily playtime (minutes), stars, number of games, play counts per development area, and correct answers/questions per game — are sent through our relay server (Vercel, United States) to the AI provider Anthropic (United States), which returns the report text. The child's name, device identifiers, video and audio are never included; the relay strips everything that is not a number and stores nothing. Anthropic retains requests for up to 30 days under its policy and does not use them for training. If you do not use this feature (no Master plan, or offline), nothing is transmitted.
7. Children's privacy
Since the App collects no personal information to servers, no verifiable parental consent flow is triggered. On-device info (name/age) is entered and managed by parents and can be removed anytime by deleting the app.
